  • Washington D.C Public Schools. Meals will be available for all students every weekday from Monday, March 16-Tuesday, March 31 from 10 am-2 pm at select sites:

  • Calvert County Public Schools. The Calvert County Department of Child Nutrition will begin distribution of free lunches at three locations in the county on March 18 to any children aged 4-18.

  • Charles County Public Schools. Offering free breakfast and lunch for all children 18 and younger while the school system is closed from March 16 to 27.The curbside distribution of breakfast packs and cold, bagged lunches will take place at eight sites between 11am - 1pm. Sites include:

  • Frederick County Public Schools.  Serving free breakfast and lunch to all children ages 18 and younger as well as adults older than 18 who are enrolled in an education program for persons with disabilities on weekdays, Monday-Friday, March 16-27 from 8:30-9:30 AM  Breakfast and 11:30 AM-12:30 PM for Lunch. Participants do NOT have to live in Frederick County, be FCPS students or be registered to attend the schools serving meals.

  • Montgomery County Public Schools. Children Up to 18 Years Old May Come To Any of These Locations Monday Through Friday To Receive A Nutritious Meal. No appointment is necessary. Meals will be provided in a Grab-and-Go format. Meals will be available Monday through Friday from 11 a.m.–1 p.m.

  • Alexandria County Public Schools. Providing emergency meals at no cost for any child under 18 and any family who needs it - including free delivery. Time: 8:00am - 1:00pm.

  • Arlington County Public Schools. Providing free grab-and-go breakfasts and lunches at two school sites between 11:00am - 1:00pm.:

  • Fairfax County Public Schools. Breakfast will be available from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and lunch will be available from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at select sites:

  • Falls Church County Public Schools. There will be more information on food available for students and families in the coming days.

  • Fredericksburg County Public Schools. Information on free meals to come. 

  • Loudon County Public Schools. Serve free breakfast and lunch daily at all schools during the period of school closure, daily, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

  • Manassas City Public Schools. Sharing food service continuation information this coming week.

  • Prince William County Public Schools. Providing packaged breakfasts and lunches to go at select locations throughout the county, to anyone under the age of 18.

    • Mobile Hope delivers meals to at-risk and homeless youth every week. After LCPS shut down for the coronavirus, they're feeding those who rely on school for meals.

    • Bring your children (up to 18 years old) to the restaurant Monday-Friday from 11am-1pm for a brown bag take and go meal. 

  • Medium Rare DC

    • ​Bringing free meals to elderly (70+) who are quarantined in the Washington D.C metro area.

  • Jose Andres Restaurant Community Kitchens, 12pm - 5pm daily, starting Tuesday, March 17 :

    • America Eats Tavern, Georgetown:  A community kitchen will operate from the back upstairs patio.

    • Jaleo, Bethesda: A community kitchen will operate from the side door.

    • Jaleo, Crystal City:  A community kitchen will operate from the side door.

    • Jaleo, Penn Quarter: A community kitchen will operate from the side door.

    • Oyamel, Penn Quarter: A community kitchen will operate from the side door.

    • Zaytinya, Penn Quarter: A community kitchen will operate from the side door.

  • Purple Patch, 8am - 10am daily

    • Offering pancakes and waffles to go from 8am until 10am for kids in the surrounding area as well as a bag lunch for them. In-house market open from 3pm until 9pm.

    • ​Serving free meals to the children and families of Arlington Public Schools - Arlington County Virginia – Government who are in need. 

  • Joe's Place Arlington

    • Serving free cheese pizza & salads to families in need from weekdays, 5-7pm at 5555 Lee Highway.

  • Little Miner Taco
    This taqueria, inside the Savor at 3807 food hall, is offering free kid’s menu items for as long as DC and Maryland schools are closed.

  • MGM Roast Beef
    The sandwich shop is offering free sandwiches or salads for kids 12 and under, and free meals for hospital workers.

  • Prima
    This fast-casual Italian spot in downtown Bethesda will serve free meals to kids for long as Montgomery County schools are closed; takeout and delivery only.

  • Po Boy Jim
    As long as DC public schools are closed, children eat free from the kid’s menu. Options include chicken fingers, pasta, grilled cheese, and a fried-shrimp sandwich.

  • Rasa
    The fast-casual Indian restaurant is offering free takeout meals for school kids (as well as hospital workers with a valid ID).

  • Santa Rosa Taqueria
    Students can stop by the Capitol Hill taqueria for chicken and veggie tacos with chips and salsa.
